La Cabalgata de Majadahonda repartirá 8 toneladas de caramelos
Majadahonda está «ready to surprise with a great welcome to the Three Wise Men from the East», who will parade through the streets on Sunday accompanied by their royal Pages in a procession of large floats distributing eight tons of candy.
According to the Majadahonda City Council, this year the Three Wise Men Parade will be celebrated with six large floats, the largest of them being a 28-meter long dragon with hundreds of LED lights and movement.
Various characters from history will also participate; music bands (including the Municipal Music Band of Majadahonda); a fire truck and various parades, with the participation of different local groups, associations, and organizations.

As it passes through the city center streets, the grand procession will distribute eight tons of sweets to those who prepared this special reception.
It will start at the roundabout of Avenida de Guadarrama with Avenida de los Reyes Católicos at 18:30 hours and will end at the roundabout of the road to Boadilla with Francisco Umbral street, where the Three Wise Men will offer their traditional gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to the baby Jesus.
In addition, they will receive, from the hands of the mayor, Lola Moreno, the magical keys of the city, to be able to deliver the gifts prepared for children and adults at home during the night.
