180 viviendas nuevas para vulnerables en Majadahonda.
Mayor of Majadahonda, Lola Moreno and the Minister of Housing, Transportation, and Infrastructure of the Community Madrid, Jorge Rodrigo, signed a new collaboration agreement between the Social Housing Agency (formerly IVIMA) and the City Council on Friday, to provide 180 Publicly Protected Rental Housing at an affordable price in plot R08 of the opportunity area.
According to a statement, this Agreement updates and gathers the conditions related to the typology, destination, and assessment of houses, storage rooms, and garages that have been built since last year on a Approximately 15,000 square meter plot in the vicinity of Moreno Torroba, Isaac Albéniz, and Avenida de Oliva in Majadahonda.
After signing the new agreement, Moreno and Rodrigo visited the construction works in which the regional government has invested 28.5 million euros and is expected to be completed by 2026. «The level of execution is already over 54%, and we want, through this agreement, to help the most vulnerable residents of the municipality,» said the councilor.
Construction of 249 new community social housing units begins in Móstoles
The housing units, distributed in several blocks, have a usable area of 52 square meters, consisting of Two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom. Eight of the units are designated for individuals with low mobility. All units have storage and parking space.
As per the agreement, the Ministry of Housing, Transportation, and Infrastructure of the Community Madrid, through the General Directorate of Housing and Rehabilitation, will grant preferences through the Draw procedure.
